iEngDat is a construction monitoring
system that allows the construction companies to collect, consolidate and manage
on-site data with ease. It is developed to collect data for building
construction activities leveraging on real time capabilities. The system
utilizes the pocket pc (PDA handheld device) mobility and Web extensibility to
help geotechnical engineers in achieving working efficiency and accuracy. The system engages PDA hand held
technologies with internet facilities to allow efficient and accurate data
collection on site.
The system will in the near future allow for real time
data transfer from the hand held device to the web server.

iEngDat takes into consideration the site encumbrances so as to minimise paper work
for the site engineers and expedite works for
QS and contracts staff.
iEngDat is scalable to allow for projects of various sizes and difficulties to be
